The Housing Navigation Center exists to give people who are experiencing homelessness a hand up to a better tomorrow. I was amazed to learn how quickly someone can find themselves without a safe place to call their own. One of the most harmful things about their circumstance is the stigma that comes with homelessness, because the shame that comes with it can stifle the will to persevere.
